Badlands
Weather

Badlands National Park is famous for some nasty weather. Due to the open nature of the park, it's easy to become exposed to the weater. High winds, heavy rains, hail and lightning are all common and should be prepared for. As always, avoid open exposed areas during lightning storms and seek shelter. Badlands National Park can get very hot, so always have a fresh supply of water.
