Snowbank Lake is a huge 4,273 acre piece of freshwater at the
end of the Fernberg road at the border of the Boundary Waters
Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) with a maximum depth of 150 feet
and water clarity of 23 feet!. It is officially entry point #27,
with a total of 8 entry permits granted per day from May 1 to
September 30. There is a motor boat launch and a canoe launch.
