South Stockade Lake campground is a cozy little space tucked behind beautiful Stockade Lake in a majestic stand of ponderosa pines.. The photo above is an ultra wide angle lens view of the campground. In person, the trees are much larger and more tightly packed. South Stockade Lake campground is also at 5,171 feet in elevation, so dress accordingly during the cooler times of year.
