Greek Creek Campground

Share |

Greek Creek is a small but scenic campground thirty one miles south of Bozeman on US 191 in the rugged Gallatin National Forest. It is one of the more popular campgrounds on the busy 191 route between Bozeman and West Yellowstone.

The Gallatin Canyon offers amazing recreational opportunities, and Greek Creek sits right on the Gallatin River. The Gallatin is an outstanding trout stream and the fishing is excellent wading the river right from Greek Creek campground. The Gallatin river has some of the highest trout per river mile numbers in the U.S. Those interested in catching some trout will definitely have to break out the rod for any stay at this campground.

The sites offer nice enough privacy. Road noise is very evident as the campground borders busy US 191, but sites closer to the river help drown out the road noise.
