Swan Creek Campground

Swan Creek campground is just a touch past Greek Creek campground while heading south from Bozeman on U.S. 191. Swan Creek is similar to Spire Rock in that the campground is narrow, the sites are very private and spacious. Besides the similar layout, Swan Creek also has a tight feel with cliffs and ridges surrounding the grounds. Scenic Swan Creek gently rolls through many of the sites, offering a relaxing mix to the mountain ecosystem here.

The exit for Swan Creek is also tricky. It's the first left after Greek Creek campground when heading south on U.S. 191 from Bozeman. It's a very short drive from the exit to the actual campground. Fishermen will find this an enjoyable campground thanks to its close proximity to the fantastic Gallatin River. Those looking for a relatively quite car camping experience may rate this campground higher than others. There doesn't seem to be much traffic except for a few trucks here and there along Forest Road 3108.
