Kintla Lake campground is the most remote drive-in campground in Glacier
National Park . It is reached via a 14 mile dirt road from the Polebridge
entrance in Glacier's North Fork country. The road is primitive, but
cars can handle the road in good summer weather. Be cautious and aware
of potholes and any moisture on the road that could mean soft mud. Large
RV's and trailers are not recommended. There are no modern bathrooms
at Kintla Lake campground . The campground borders Kintal Lake and makes
for a very scenic setting. If you want a quiet drive-in car camping
experience in Glacier National Park, this is your best bet along with
Cut Bank, Logging Creek and Quartz Creek. These remote drive-in sites
make for great camping.
