Logging Creek is the second smallest campground in Glacier National
Park. It is a remote campground located seven miles southeast
of the Polebridge entrance along the North Fork Road. There are
no modern bathrooms of any kind. There has been considerable wolf
activity in the area which sometimes closes the inside North Fork
Road. Definitely one of the more quiet drive-in campground experiences
in Glacier National Park. Logging Creek occasionally
closes for various reasons, so check with Glacier National Park
before planning your camping trip.
The last time I was at Logging Creek the campground was closed
and the area looked very overgrown. It's definitely a good idea
to check with the park before venturing all the way out there.
