Mather is the main campground in Grand Canyon National Park. It's a very large campground and quite popular. Reservations are highly recommended from March to November. You can make them at: 1-877-444-6777.
Mather campground offers full modern conveniences such as laundry, showers, general store and is close to some of the dining areas in the main visitor center complex..



Many people enjoy this campground for its convenient location and scenic pine forest. Elk inhabit the campground as well as other Grand Canyon critters. All of these factors make this the most popular campground in the park. Do not expect solitude in peak seasons.
