Jenny Lake Campground

Jenny Lake campground is a scenic beauty in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. It's understandable why it often fills before 8 AM during peak summer periods. It's nestled right at the base of the Tetons, and the camping sites have a colorful, quiet alpine beauty. Jenny Lake campground is also tent only. If you seek a quiet drive-in campground that is only for tents, this is the best spot in Grand Teton National Park.

Let's face it, there are a lot of beautiful camprounds in our national park system. If forced to make a list, Jenny Lake would be placed very well. It's quiet and icnredibly verdant, with a nice hushed atmosphere - the kind where you can hear a cooler open from across the campground. The sites are also home to a variety of wildlife from mule deer to elk. Owls can be seen nesting in the thick woods. Walks around this campground are pleasant and relaxed. It's an ideal location. One vehicle shorter than fourteen feet is permitted per site.
