Grand Teton National Park
camping spot with picnic table and pine trees, Wyoming
Signal Mountain Campground

Signal Mountain is the second most popular campground in Grand Teton National Park. Plan on getting there well before 10 AM if you want a camping site. The campground twists it's way through a serene and tightly packed pine forest. Occasionally, you can glimpse spectacular views of Jackson Lake and the Tetons. Signal Mountain campground offers a nice centralized location in Grand Teton National Park. The Jenny Lake area is a jaw dropping short drive away, and the lesser known northern portions of Grand Teton National Park are not far either. A store is within walking distance, and the campground offers modern restrooms.

Those seeking to enjoy the lakefront near the campground have a very steep walk. There are several small trails nearby, and the Signal Mountain drive takes you to the top of the mountain for an outstanding view of the area. Signal Mountain campground can fill easily. Because of this, it can be noisy at times. Overall a nice campground and a good central location.
