Canyon is another very large Yellowstone National Park campground. Its location is central to the park, which makes it a much shorter drive to the various attractions, but also makes it a busy campground and area in general. Canyon campground is very close to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, one of Yellowstone National Park's most famous features. It's easy to get up before sunrise and take the short drive to the Yellowstone viewpoints before the crowds arrive. Canyon campground has modern bathrooms and is within a half mile of a mall, information center and gas station
