Indian Creek is one of Yellowstone National Parks smaller campgrounds,
located in the northwest part of the park. It's a tranquil camping
area set amongst a scenic creek, meadows and lodgepole pines.
Bring bug spray as some marshy areas exist near the campground.
Indian Creek campground does not have modern restrooms.
As fas as Yellowstone campgrounds go, Indian Creek appears to
be a strange bird. It's not really near any major attractions,
nor is it near any niche attractions like well known fishing spots.
Nor is it a centrally located spot in the park, making easy day
trips. That said, It's a cheerful location, thickly forested with
the calming, gurgling sounds of Indian Creek nearby. This relatively
quiet campground is sort of a cult favorite.
