Yellowstone National Park
Lewis Lake

No question about it, Lewis Lake is the most "out of the way" campground in Yellowstone National Park. It's far from the major attractions, buried in heavy forest and mountainous country between Yellowstone Lake and Grand Teton National Park. It's one of the quieter camping sites in the park because of its location. Lewis Lake itself is very scenic, and deserves exploring. If you want an "off the beaten path" drive in campground with big lake access, this is your place. Lewis Lake campground does not offer modern restrooms. Bring your fishing pole and your Yellowstone National Park fishing permit.
