I am looking for some great camping recipes! I would love some really easy things to throw together, but hearty meals. My whole family gets so hungry when we are camping. I swear they eat around the clock.

Any type recipes for Breakfast, lunch, dinner or even snacks would do.

Is there a great recipe you would like to share with me?

We take many salads and fresh veggies (load them in the coolers)- just nice for quick meals or snacks. Last year we took our steamer and fresh veggies and steamed beans and squash- it was like being right at home - not at the campground.

Hmm... No actually. We always prepare food that could be easily cooked in a grill... I would suggest you to have sirloin though. Yum. Tongue

I really don't cook.. if i do i usually do some grilling only or if not then i will just buy canned goods and chips for the girls or for everybody..i rather not spend on my time on cooking but must indulge more on camping activities or exploring the ground..

You'll need a frying pan for this, do you take one with when you go camping? I do. So, here goes: chop tomatoes & onion, fry them until soft, add some salt, throw in pieces of Polish sausage (or hotdogs), add 3-4 eggs, stir and fry like you would do scrambled eggs. Add salt to taste. This omelet is delicious!

Hello Merana! I'm not that much of a good cooker but I really like this recipe that you shared. I tested it early this morning and it was great. Thanks for posting that. It sure is delicious.

I am not really good in cooking but my wife does...but during camping we usually grilled our food..and bring some nuts or anything that the children will like to eat during camping..

lol I bet so..I mean you really like just staying in your home in that kind of set up when you camp out..well in my case I like it to be different.. I mean i like to feel that I am really camping .. so I see to it that the food I bring are just canned goods or anything that only needs reheating or grilling...
