My family and I are planning to be in Glacier NP for the first week of July. What is the best campground? Thank you.

I've been 2 times. Fave on the west side is Kintla, and for the east side Two Medicine. Kintla is hard to get to, kind of an adventure. Bot are very pretty.  Cool

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to be near a large river (North Fork of the Flathead) or lake (Lake McDonald) while also being close to food, gas and gifts, Apgar and Fish Creek(west side)make for very good choices.

If you want a more remote experience with lakes, and have a vehicle that can handle some rough terrain, Bowman and Kintla campgrounds are good (west side).

If you want to camp in the wildest scenery while also being near lakes and some small stores, Many Glacier and Two Medicine are both excellent.
