Thumbs up on Fish Creek camp. Lots of big trees and we had a site on the other side of the trees from the beach. We spent time swimming, snorkling and splashing around with the kids. We took hikes to "the point" on the trail, roasted smores around the campfire and had an awesome time. We saw bald eagles, otters and deer. The only thing I would say is there really aren't any views except for BIG trees. It's very thick back in there. We were close to the Northfork river and also fished and explored that section of the park. Thumbs up if you like water!

I like this one better than Apgar but the wife prefers Apgar because of how close it is to food. Forest is very thick, trees really high. Don't expect too many views until you walk out on the lake which has a really narrow beach. I would rank Fish Creek very high, best campground on the east side other than Sprague.
