Right between the road and Lake McDonald on a narrow strip of land with huge trees. not the nicest beach due to all the rocks but great views. Expect road noise.

Beautiful campground right on Bowman Lake. The GIANT trees really add to the place. We liked the limited sites because it made the campground quieter. The only bummer is the road noise. You are very close to Going to the Sun Road and from sunrise to sunset there is lots of traffic. This is the main road of the park. Sprague is a fine campground. We recommend it if you can get a spot!
