Anacostia Park

Anacostia Park is one of Washington DC's largest recreation areas. Hundreds of acres are available for outdoor activities including picnics and the pavilion provides 3300 square feet for roller skating and special events. There is an 18-hole golf course, marinas, boat clubs, a public boat ramp for recreational boating. The park issues reservations for picnic areas with $50 processing charge. The Park is open daily from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm except on Thanksgiving Day, christmas Day and New Years Day.
