Lewis Lake has great fishing, but the campground is too far away from the rest of the attractions in Yellowstone. We ended up driving a lot during our trip. I guess that is the price you pay for staying a bit more off the beaten path. The lake is just awesome. Our boys had a blast fishing and exploring.   Another positive is this place isn't really that far from Grand Teton, so it's pretty cool as a middle ground if you plan on seeing both places. No problems with our rented 30' RV at the campground.

Some beautiful country for sure. Will be going back to both parks next year.

Family of four which did not stay at Lewis Lake, but we did drive through and have a picnic. The lake is beautiful!  I wish we would have statyed at this campground so the kids could just play all day along the water. I think these things would be more fun/important than seeing all the "must see" attractions which are way too busy.
