Found this place via another forum.  My family is planning a trip to Yellowstone and Teton this summer, not sure about dates yet!  Could be early June or early August!

Planning 2 nights at Colter Bay CG in Tetons, 3 nights at Madison CG and 3 nights at Canyon.  Possibly another night at Bridge Bay, just to be near the lake.

Sounds like a well planned trip.  I've personally stayed at Colter Bay campground and find it excellent. It has modern bathrooms as well as a restaurant and mini store ( souvenir , groceries, etc). There's also a marina. I think you will like that the Colter Bay campgrounds are right near Jackson Lake.  Madison campground in Yellowstone is great for viewing elk and fishing. Canyon campground is the most central location in the park and good for a variety of things from wildlife watching(Hayden Valley, Mt. Washburn, Lamar Valley) to catching Yellowstone Falls in the good morning and evening light.

If you like to fish rivers, make it early August. If you like things more "green" shoot for June. Thanks for posting and welcome!

lvs2camp , that sounds like a great trip. I think you have it spaced out pretty well between areas of the park. Have fun!
