Stayed here for two nights in early July. Very popular spot with people driving down the gravel road just to check things out. We had a tent site along the river which we had to rush to a 8 am. We never would have gotten it otherwise. The river is beautiful as well as the surrounding forest. Mule deer are everywhere and not shy. My husband loved the fishing, I mean really loved it. Lots of talk about big ones. The sites are not spacious, and the bathrooms are the vault style. No sinks or running water. There is a ratchety old pump to get water from that hopefully got some work done on it since we left.

A good campground if you like fishing and roughing it.

Slough Creek is really nice. The only issue we had was the dust and all the people just driving the road and turning around. Our site was a pain to get, and it seemed like several of the campers banded together to reserve sites for their friends.
